The company operates in the Parma area, the heart of the agricultural-food sector where, thanks to the talent of many small businessmen, the processing of stainless steel has, over the years, become a predominant activity aimed towards the development of technologies and of the construction of machines and equipment for the processing and transformation of food products.

The Caggiati Maurizio firm was founded in 1966 by Maurizio Caggiati, as a mechanical structural workshop making pieces (parts/elements) custom-made for its clients.

The care taken with the product, the attention paid to client and the analysis of problems relating to hygiene and to the discharge of water in the agricultural-food, dairy, cheese and pharmaceutical/chemical sectors, led the Caggiati Maurizio firm at the end of the 1970s to develop and consolidate its production, creating its own brand and asserting itself as a leader in the sector in the Italian market and in several foreign markets.

After 40 years sons Nicola and Filippo still carry on the activity, maintaining the company tradition and continuing to be the driving force in the research and development of new models and of new production systems in order to keep their products at the highest level and with an excellent quality-price relationship.

The high flexibility of the production cycles allows “Caggiati Maurizio” to create unique pieces or also small lots in order to meet and resolve the client’s needs.

1966

Beginning of operations on behalf of third parties in partnership with the brother in Parma

1975

Opening of the one-man business in S. RUFFINO (PR) on a surface area of 250 sq.m.

1987

Transfer to the new site in ALBERI (PR) on a surface area of 850 sq.m.

1992

Transformation from one-man business to S.n.c. (general partnership) (with the entry into the company of sons Nicola and Filippo)

1994

Extension of the ALBERI site to 1500 sq.m.

1996

Change from S.n.c. to S.r.l. (private limited company)

2002

Opening of the new site in CORCAGNANO (PR) on a surface area of 4000 sq.m. for production and with 20 members of staff.

2024

Industry leader on the Italian market and on various foreign markets.
